"Total media space of above 10,000 sq ft. spread across 16 Metro Stations of Line 2 has been allotted in the tender, rolled out by DMRC."

Explomedia, one of the leading players in Delhi, successfully adds another set of media into its portfolio by acquiring 16 stations of Yellow Line- 2, recently tendered by the DMRC authority. The tender, for 10 years of duration, includes 16 DMRC stations starting from India Gate till Guru Dronacharya metro station. The stations have various formats like Flyover Panels / Pillars / Via Ducts with the total space measures approximately about 10,000 sq ft.

"We want to relay our company with a good mix of outdoor formats to be an established player in the market. Investing in DMRC tender was a calculated move. Primarily, it makes much more sense in investing long term tenders from the business viewpoint and this tender is for 10 years. Another reason which lured us in investing in this line was that Yellow line is one of the premium lines of the entire Delhi Metro. It covers the NDMC area- AIIMS, Aurbindo Marg till MG Road, which is the major junction to enter in Gurgaon. Also it is one of the best ways to enter in Gurgaon since the absence of media at highways, etc. Moreover it is the profitable deal for us, we didn't pay any huge amount for this and won it with 3% of margin", shares Sunjjoy Daadhicch, President, Explomedia.

Also considering the legality issues prevailing in the Delhi OOH market, Sunjjoy believes Metro Media is the best option to invest in, as it doesn't have any legal issues and overall the transit media is growing with great numbers.

Established in 2002, Explomedia deals into Unipoles, Gantry, BQS, Kisoks, Mall Display, Trivision and Utilities.
