Century OOH strengthens its OOH portfolio by acquiring Ranchi Airport

This contract has further strengthened Century OOH portfolio which includes the exclusive advertising rights at 11 airports out of 17 airports in East India.

Introduction

C entury OOH, one of the finest Indian OOH media owning company has begun the year on a good note. The firm has widened its kitty by acquiring the contract for the exclusive advertising rights for the Ranchi Airport. The contract with AAI has been signed for seven years.
Details of contract

This contract has further strengthened Century OOH portfolio which includes the exclusive advertising rights at 10 airports out of 17 airports in East India. This airport has been tendered for the first time for advertising purpose where the awardee will build new assets including static and digital sites.

Situated in the capital city Ranchi, Jharkhand, Birsa Munda Airport is the major operational airport in the state. It serves as a gateway to the state full of mineral resources in its girth and industries with immense business potential. There are ample opportunities to engage travellers through activations at various experiential spaces inside the airport. Work is underway to create new formats to offer the best sites to advertisers. Outside the airport, various exterior displays can be used for advertising along airport/terminal roadways such as LED billboards and unipoles.

Elated on the win, Shashi Kumar Chaudhary, founder, Century OOH, said, "We already had 10 airport media rights and with Ranchi, we have added another achievement to our list. So, in India, all the media rights which are sold out to different licensee. Century has got highest number of airports. East India has 17 airports, out of 17 we have got 11 airports media rights. Since we have dominance in terms of media rights, this way any advertising agency or spender can concentrate more on Century to promote their service through this Airport Out of Home (AOOH)."

"AOOH will be the mother of all media's and that's on the agenda until 2023. The company is planning to expand its business and in order to bag many more media rights.
