Times OOH acquires DMRC’s Pink Line Tender

Gets 9 years of exclusive train branding media rights.


T imes OOH, one of the finest Indian OOH media owning company has begun the year on a good note. The firm has widened its kitty by acquiring the contract for the exclusive advertising rights for the DMRC's Pink Line. The contract with DMRC has been signed for nine years.

Details of Contract

This contract has further strengthened Times OOH portfolio in Delhi, which includes the exclusive advertising rights at Delhi Airport, 156 Bus Queue Shelters and the entire stretch of Yamuna Expressway.

Pink Line with its distinct "U" shape, serves 38 stations on the busy ring road. It circles Delhi all the way from Majlis Park and Azadpur in North to Punjabi Bagh and Rajouri garden in the West to Bhikaji Cama Place and Dill Haat in South to Mayur Vihar and Shiv Vihar in East. Times OOH's research tells that 48% of passengers spend more than 45 minutes travelling on this line. 51% of the passengers belong to the service class and are the primary decision makers of their households.

Commenting on the contract, Shekhar Narayanaswami, CFO and Head of Acquisitions, Times OOH said, "We plan to serve 52 trains on the Pink line offering high impact media options like trains wraps, followed by In-train media of more than 3500+ static sites and 1800+ digital screens. We already have expertise in metro media through our long association with Mumbai Metro One line and our previous association with Delhi Metro. We look forward to our next innings with DMRC and are confident that we will replicate the same success story on the Pink line of DMRC too. This also helps us consolidate our presence in Delhi NCR area."
