Times OOH, a media owning firm is always known for pushing the envelope and creating a new league in the Indian OOH industry. Continuing with its tradition to stand out, the media owning firm has rolled out a contest named 'Times OOH Drawing Board Contest', where the company is inviting innovative and creative design ideas for a BQS OOH format installed by them. The idea behind this contest is to involve the residents of the city in developing aesthetic infrastructure that is not only pleasing to the eye but relevant in its design and function. As a result, the company will be using the winning designs for its BQS media.
Explaining more about this competition, Arghya Chakravarty, CEO, Times OOH says, "Out of home media is an intrinsic part of our daily lives, especially in an age where people are spending more and more time outside the home. OOH is therefore an unavoidable part of our environment. That's why we thought to involve the citizens of the city to design the BQS. Our aim is to have a media that is not just unobtrusive, but aesthetically pleasing as well. We have invited participation from various cross sections of society and across various disciplines. As long as you have a creative spark, we'd love for you to participate! I eagerly look forward to receive many innovative designs as part of this one-of-a-kind contest."
The contest also has some rewarding prices for the winner. The winner will be rewarded with One Lakh Rupees as a prize money along with that, the person will be the key part of the project and involved in the construction and execution of the BQS. Addition to this, the winner will get coverage in a national daily newspaper and will get a chance to showcase it's profile on Times OOH social media channels. Apart from the Winner, the Jury will also select 2 Runner-ups who will be given a cash prize of Rs. 25000 each.
To promote this contest, the company is actively using social networking sites such as Facebook & Twitter and also getting physical posters plastered.
