Travelling takes a tollon almost everyone living in urban cities and if it's the season of summer then it is all the more traumatic. People who commute daily do find alternatives to drive to work and places and this is where UBER has to with its aid. The cab company is offering lucrative offers and discount coupons on its rides this summer urging people to make the most of the offering. This has been conveyed to people of Mumbai city through the outdoor medium. The campaign is executed by Bright Outdoor Media making sure every commuter or a traveller makes full use of this offering by UBER.
The blanket campaign has covered every niche and corner of the city with proper planning. Strategized to reach maximum number of audience, hoardings and billboards have been placed at numerous key locations which are Andheri Chitrakoot, Bandra Linking Road, Bandra SV Road, Bandra Talao, Juhu Gulmohar Road, Juhu NR Haveli, Khar SV Road, Lower Parel, Santacruz SV Road, Vile Parle Flyover, Vile Parle SV Road, Vile Parle SV Road and Worli Naka.
The campaign uses different creatives for different areas in the city. Uber is promoting their scheme of First ride free by using a promo code. All the creatives are planned as per the areas and the scheme they have for travelling from that particular area to another location. Coloured in blue background the creatives are pleasing to the eye and catches the attention of people living in that area or travelling.
"I have always liked the idea of a cab service such as UBER. The ease and comfort it provides just makes travelling anywhere a lot easier than before. The campaign has been launched at the right time when people really need a cab in this season. We planned a massive outdoor campaign to reach out as many people as possible which includes those who use UBER or those who are yet to try it. According to the creatives we had chalk out the places to install the hoardings. I think we have covered all key areas of Mumbai and I wish that it makes commuting a lot easier for people in Mumbai", said Yogesh Lakhani, CMD, Bright Outdoor Media.
