CASHurDRIVE bags advertising rights for Meru Cabs in India

CashurDrive Marketing, the transit media advertising company, who specialise in vehicle wraps across 24 cities in India and Singapore has recently announced its collaboration with Meru Cabs to explore prospects of transit OOH media advertising. Headquartered in Mumbai, the 7 year old cab company, one of the first to launch metered ‘Radio Cab’ in the country, has a foothold in 21 cities in the country and claims to have a base of more than 5 million customers.

“We believe in-transit OOH format, which we started in 2008. It has a great value offering to marketers as this is the only OOH media which can be tracked in terms of performance. According to a report by IMARC (International Market Analysis Research and Consulting) Group in 2013, the total market for transit advertising in India is expected to grow at a CAGR of 22 per cent in 2013 to 2016. The market research firm also suggested that the total share of transit media in the Indian advertising market is expected to increase from around 33 per cent calculated in 2012 to around 45 per cent by 2016.
