It seems the Limca Book of Records is bringing good news for media owners in India. The latest edition of the record book has certified a 120x140 feet billboard in Mumbai as the largest outdoor hoarding owned by Global Advertisers. The citation states that Mumbai based-Global Advertisers' hoarding installed in Bandra, Mumbai, measures 1,560.77 sq m/ 16,800 sq ft, is the largest in the country. The 42.67 m wide, 36.58 m high front-lit hoarding overlooks the Western Express Highway, the Bandra Kala Nagar Junction and other important vantage points. The hoarding is visible from a 3 km distance and was erected on the 24th of January in 2014.

Earlier this month, Limca Book of Records had certified JCDecaux India’s out-of-home media format on the glass façade at Dhaula Kuan station of Delhi Airport Express Metro Line as the largest outdoor media site and now Global Advertisers has bagged one for the OOH media advertising industry. Global also claims to have a robust portfolio of 500 billboards in Mumbai and has completed 17,000 campaigns, 12,000 product launches, 15,000 event sponsorships and 3,500 in-film brandings.
