The winners of OAA 2014…

5th July, 2014 was when the Outdoor Advertising Industry celebrated them and their work as OAA 2014, honored and recognized people who have contributed to contemporizing, energizing and leveraging the possibilities in OOH for best effect. The 10th Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA), held in Grand Hyatt, Goa in the evening of July 5, demonstrated the increasing competition among the top-flight OOH firms for the top honours. Eventually, Milestone Brandcom bagged 5 golds and 15 metals in all. Madison Out-Of-Home bagged 9 metals, and Kinetic Worldwide India, GroupM Dialouge Factory and Brandscope India won 5 each.

For the break-up, in the ‘Traditional Billboards’ category, Adhunnik Mercantile Pvt. Ltd won the Gold for its ‘Ab Suno Mat.. Dekho Bhi!!’ Red Live, 93.5 Red FM campaign, while Milestone Brandcom and Kinetic Worldwide India picked silver each for the ‘Farmer Suicide’ Times Of India campaign, and ‘Hello Dwarka’ Reliance Communications campaigns, respectively. Madison Out-Of-Home picked the bronze for its ‘Wi-Fi Showcase’ Tata Docomo campaign.

In the ‘Street Furniture’ category, Madison Out-Of-Home won silver for the ‘Open Up’ Tata DOCOMO campaign. There were no other metals awarded in this category.

In the ‘Transit Media’ category, Madison Out-Of-Home picked the gold for the ‘Real Book Installation’ Sony Entertainment campaign, while Kinetic Worldwide India won the bronze for the ‘Skoda Rapid Metro’ campaign. The silver metal was not awarded in this category.

In the ‘Alternate Media’ category, Brandscope India won the gold for ‘Sound Trek’ Fox Traveller campaign, while GroupM Dialogue Factory won the silver for ‘Heineken Inner Voice,’ campaign. Milestone Brandcom won the bronze for the ‘Double is Back (Only Burger)’ McDonald’s campaign.

In the ‘Telecom’ category, Milestone Brandcom won the silver for its ‘Open Up’ Tata DOCOMO campaign, while Kinetic Worldwide India won the bronze for ‘Vodafone Belvdere Tower Metro Station’ branding. The gold metal was not awarded in this category.

In the ‘Financial Services’ category, Brandscope India picked the gold for the ‘Mobile Insurance Car’ HDFC ERGO campaign. There were no other metals awarded in this category.

In the ‘Entertainment & Media’ category, Ogilvy Entertainment and Milestone Brandcom bagged a gold each for ‘The Power of Shunya’ Dupont campaign, and ‘Aap Ko Rakhe Aage’ ABP News campaign, respectively. Madison-Out-Of-Home won the bronze for the ‘KBC Season 7’ Sony Entertainment campaign. The silver metal was not awarded in this category.

In the ‘Automotive’ category, Brandscope India won the gold for the ‘Nissan GTA-Simulation Zone’ Nissan campaign, while Ambient OOH won the bronze for ‘Skoda Test Drive’ campaign. The silver metal was not awarded in this category.

In the ‘FMCG’ category, GroupM Dialogue Factory and Meru Cabs won a gold for the ‘Breakfast Cab’ Kellogg India campaign, while Rapport Outdoor Advertising won the silver for the ‘Kissanpur’ Kissan campaign. Milestone Brandcom and Madison Out-Of-Home won a bronze each for the ‘You. Me. Engage Deo Sprays’ ITC, Personal Care campaign, and ‘Cadbury Gems- IPL Trophy’ Cadbury Gems campaign, respectively.

In the ‘Consumer Durables’ category, Cheil India picked the sole metal award, a silver, for its ‘Galaxy S4 - Sound & Shot’ Samsung campaign. No other metals were awarded in this category.

In the ‘Retail Brands’ category, Milestone Brandcom won the gold for the ‘Double is Back (Only Burger)’ McDonald’s campaign. No other metals were awarded in this category.

In the ‘Real Estate & Construction’ category, Madison Out-Of-Home won the silver for the ‘Mumbai's Waterproof Autos’ Dr. Fixit campaign, while Brandscope India won the bronze for the ‘Embassy Prestine’ campaign. Gold was not awarded in this category.

In the ‘Travel & Hospitality’ category, TIMDAA won the bronze for the ‘Baggaging The accolades Of Passengers’ Cleartrip.com campaign. No other metals were awarded in this category.

In the ‘Public & Social Service’ category, Brand Connect Media won the gold for ‘Yamraj to the Rescue’ Edeleiss Tokio Life Insurance campaign, while Rapport Advertising won the silver for ‘The Killer Speech Blurb’ Mumbai Traffic Police campaign.

In the ‘Clothing, Footwear & Accessories’ category, Milestone Brandcom won the gold for the ‘Stylish Eyewear’ Titan Eye+ campaign. No other metals were awarded in this category.

The gold as well as the silver for the ‘Campaign of the Year’ went to Milestone Brandcom for the ‘Aap Ko Rakhe Aage’ ABP News campaign, and the ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ Colors campaign, respectively. Avenir Brand & Zenith Optimedia won the bronze for the ‘Olx.in’ campaign.

The gold for the ‘Innovation of the Year’ went to Meru Cabs for the ‘Breakfast Cab’ Kellogg India campaign, while the silver went to Milestone Brandcom for the ‘Double is Back (Only Burger)’ McDonald’s campaign. Milestone Brandcom also picked the bronze for the ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ Colors campaign.

In the ‘Best Use of Ambient Media’ category, GroupM Dialogue Factory won the gold for the ‘Heineken Inner Voice’ Heineken campaign, while Madison Out-Of-Home won the silver for the ‘Ramp To Glory, Pernod Ricard (BPFT - 2013) campaign. Madison Out-Of-Home also won the bronze for the ‘Engage with Valentines Offer’ ITC Engage campaign.

The gold for the ‘Outdoor Media Plan of the Year - Local (Only One City)’ went to Kinetic Worldwide India for the ‘Vodafone Belvdere Tower Metro Station’ branding, while Milestone Brandcom won the silver for the ‘Farmer Suicide’ Times Of India campaign. The bronze also went to Milestone Brandcom for the ‘Aashiqui 2’ Sony Max campaign.

The gold for the ‘Outdoor Media Plan of the Year – National’ went to Milestone Brandcom for the ‘Aap Ko Rakhe Aage’ ABP News campaign, while Madison Out-Of-Home picked the silver for the ‘KBC Season 7’ SONY Entertainment campaign. Kinetic Worldwide India won the bronze for the ‘Reliance Life Insurance Sudhir’ Reliance Life Insurance campaign.

In the ‘Green initiative’ category, TIMDAA won the gold for the ‘Saving 25000 Trees Annually’ initiative, while Prakash Arts won the silver for the ‘Solar Paneled Bus Shelter And Billboard’ initiative. Greenline won the bronze for the ‘Subros’ initiative.

GroupM Dialogue Factory won the gold in the ‘Activation’ category for the ‘Breakfast Cab’ Kellogg India campaign, while Milestone Brandcom won the silver for ‘Aap Ko Rakhe Aage’ ABP News campaign. Brandscope India and Adhunnik Mercantile Pvt. Ltd won a bronze each for ‘Nissan GTA-Simulation Zone’ Nissan campaign and ‘Ab Suno Mat.. Dekho Bhi!!’ Red Live, 93.5 Red FM campaign, respectively.

In the ‘Digital Media’ category, Knight Riders Sports Pvt. Ltd won the silver for the ‘KKR IPL Players Auction 2014’ KKR initiative, while GroupM Dialogue Factory won the bronze for the ‘Heineken Inner Voice’ Heineken campaign. The gold metal was not awarded in this category.

Meru Cabs won the gold for the ‘Breakfast Cab’ Kellog India campaign in the ‘Best Format Innovation’ category. The silver went to Active Media for the ‘Double is Back’ McDonald’s campaign. Sakshi Advertising won the bronze for the ‘Aap Ko Rakhe Aage’ ABP News campaign.

TIMDAA won the gold in the ‘Zonal Media Owner of the Year – North’ category, while NS Publicity won the silver in this category. The bronze metal was not awarded in this category.

Prakash Arts won the gold in the ‘Zonal Media Owner of the Year – South’ category, while Vritti Solutions Ltd won the silver in this category. The bronze metal was not awarded in this category.

Vritti Solutions Ltd also won the gold in the ‘Zonal Media Owner of the Year – West’ category, while Global Advertisers won the silver in this category. The bronze metal was not awarded in this category.

Outreach Advertising Pvt.Ltd won the gold in the ‘Zonal Media Owner of the Year – East’ category. There were no other metals awarded in this category.

JCDecaux Advertising India Pvt. Ltd won the gold in the ‘National Media Owner of the Year’ category. The silver went to Times OOH. The bronze metal was not awarded in this category.

And, the gold in the ‘Printer of the Year’ category went to Macromedia Digital Imaging Private Limited, while Vijas Digital picked the silver metal. The bronze metal was not awarded in this category.

Earlier, Amit Sarkar, COO, Kinetic Worldwide India addressed the audience before the awards were given away. The awards function concluded with the vote of thanks.
